Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:15-16).

We at Karns are so blessed to have so many people willing to step in and help wherever needed. We have just had several back-to-back-to-back events that were all successful thanks to the participation of so many. We had our annual Southeast Leadership Camp, mission trip to St. Croix, and VBS all within the last few weeks. These efforts involved a large number of people to make it happen and to be successful. Where would we be if we did not have good leaders in these efforts to direct the rest of us in accomplishing these very beneficial tasks?

Justin Morton is a key to the success of Leadership Camp and VBS. Sue Benner does an outstanding job of preparing materials for children’s classes taught in St. Croix, where hundreds of lives are impacted. But neither of these folks could get the job done without a host of volunteers that eagerly step up to lead and help out in a great variety of ways. Leadership Camp needed food preparers, drivers, teachers, chaperones, helpers, etc. St. Croix needed planners, logistics, food preparers, drivers, teachers, painters, evangelists, etc. VBS obviously requires a whole hosts of folks to teach, help, feed, act, build sets, move tables and chairs, etc.

Thank you to everyone who participated in any way over these last few weeks. Your involvement has been critical to our accomplishing God’s will in reaching the world with the Good News. May the Lord continue His blessings upon us as we seek to do His will and be pleasing in His sight.

“We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers” (1 Thessalonians 1:2).

Your shepherds love you and wish to thank you for all you have done and continue to do.

For the elders, Gregg Woodall
