But exhort one another daily while it is called today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13).
The goal for our seniors (lovingly dubbed the “Young at Heart”) is to provide an atmosphere for continued spiritual growth, fellowship, service, and encouragement to pursue Christ-likeness.
Seniors have access to a wide variety of Bible classes every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Additionally, there are ladies’ classes and other classes offered by the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies.
Our seniors are extremely active in the work of the Karns congregation. They teach, assist, and support the education department as well as participate in VBS. You may find them watching the nursery, performing building maintenance, decorating bulletin boards, knocking doors, providing food, and a host of many other activities! No matter the project, our seniors are always ready and willing when a need arises.
We also have an active Widows & Widowers group for those who have lost their spouse.
