KISS Evangelism- Keep It Simple Saints!

The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated. Therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design and unnecessary complexity should be avoided.

Evangelism using the KISS method – Keep It Simple Saints 1. God gave everyone a soul 2. God wants every soul to be with HIM in heaven 3. God’s desire is for us to be faithful to HIM and teach as many as we can to do the same

1. God gave everyone a soul:

Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature (Genesis 2:7). And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7).

This breath of life was necessary because as the physical body came from the earth, the spiritual body (soul) came from God. Upon death our physical body will return to the earth and our spiritual body will return to God

2. God wants every soul to be with HIM in heaven:

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

God wants all the souls He gave to come back to Him.

3. God’s desire is for us to be faithful to HIM and teach as many as we can to do the same:

Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life (Revelation 2:10). Let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins (James 5:20). We need to live faithful lives in service to God and we need to encourage everyone we can to be obedient to the gospel.

Let’s all do our best to practice KISS Evangelism in our daily lives.
