Come On, Let’s Grow!

Have you noticed how many scriptures speak of “add”, “increase”, “multiply”, and “grow”? It is our duty and expectation as God’s children to be active in always being ready to teach others, proclaiming the Gospel, for God to then bless us with Growth. If we are all working in the kingdom as God desires, then Growth is a natural result.

Acts 2:41 …and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Acts 2:47 …And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 5:14 …believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women Acts 6:1 …the number of the disciples was multiplying, Acts 6:7 …the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, Acts 9:31 …the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria…, they were multiplied. Acts 11:24 …And a great many people were added to the Lord. Acts 12:24 …But the word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 16:5 …the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily. Acts 19:20 …So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed. 1 Corinthians 3:6 …I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 2 Corinthians 9:10 …He who supplies seed to the sower…will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. Ephesians 4:16 …when each part is working properly, makes the body grow …. Colossians 2:19 …from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

If you’ve been paying attention lately, we have put forth a significant amount of emphasis through sermons, articles, and lessons about us all doing our part as evangelists for the Lord. Let’s all be sure we are sowing the seed and God will see to it that we Grow. May God continue to bless us with growth in our numbers and more importantly may we all continue to grow in spiritual maturity.

All things are ready, are you? Come on, let’s grow!
