What Are We Waiting For?

We are at a point in time at Karns where we have every opportunity to take advantage of all the positive momentum that has already been generated and do some great things for the Lord. We should offer our collective talents and abilities to get more done.

God has always used leaders from among His people to accomplish great things in His kingdom. But one thing is constant in that none of God’s chosen leaders did the job all by themselves. Without the cooperation and effort of the many, little would get done. If Joshua had marched around Jericho all by himself with no one else to participate I am not sure the result would have been the same. God has always expected that we all do our part and get as much done as we possibly can.

We have a great many things to accomplish at Karns as we move forward in serving God in the community and everywhere we go. We need to improve our fellowship among every age group in the congregation, improve our outreach into the community, and strengthen our level of spirituality among all members. We also need to improve our service to each other by providing for all special needs. We need to improve in encouraging those who are active in service and those who need to get started, improve our efforts in reaching the lost of this world, and we need to consider a host of other initiatives as we seek to be more pleasing to God.

All things are in place and the time is now for us to resolve to get busy working for the Lord doing more than ever before. For some, we encourage you to get started in doing your part.

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work” (John 9:4).
