My Church family here at Karns is truly second to none. The turnout for our Fall Festival (Trunk or Treat) was overwhelmingly amazing. We had 120 sign up to eat and nearly 200 showed up to enjoy the plentiful supply of hot dogs, chili, desserts and other fixins’. Others came just for the trunk or treat portion of the evenings activities and we ended up with about 250 adults, teens and little ones. Everyone had a very enjoyable evening of fun and festivities. Several took this opportunity to invite their friends and neighbors and we were able to show them our love for one another and our oneness of heart.
Many thanks are due to all who had a part in this event and we hope to have more in the future. The tremendous attendance at this event shows that our families are longing for opportunities to be together and fellowship and just enjoy each other’s company. After all, isn’t that what families do? Let’s continue to be mindful of ways we can reach out to our friends and neighbors and expose them to our family so they will eventually want to be a part of what we have.
We are blessed with the family we have at Karns and let’s give thanks to God for His goodness that has been shown through each and every member. If you have somehow missed out on being an active part of our family, make your decision today to become more involved and spend more time with the rest of your family.
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. (Ephesians 1:15-16)
