Groundbreaking Day 2017

The Karns church of Christ is a FAMILY. Today is the day our family celebrates the beginning of our auditorium expansion and school building construction with a groundbreaking ceremony. Of course this event will not be a part of our worship service to God. However, it will be a small celebration of thanks with an opportunity to take a photograph for those in the future to see. As you can see in the photograph of our last building groundbreaking, it has pictures of children who were young then and now have grown children of their own.

We are thankful to you all for the support you have shown during this time. As was announced, we will have to endure the inconvenience of meeting in the large multipurpose room for a short period while our auditorium is not fit to worship in. This will require us to have two worship service times each Sunday morning until we can get back into the auditorium. Although this is not what we want, out of necessity we must be willing to suffer some inconveniences for a short period. We hope you all understand this and will continue to be patient during tChhisildtriemn eat. the 1991 groundbreaking. From left to right:

Tyler Woodall, Taylor Duncan, Stephanie (Woodall) Harder, Benjamin Woodall, Tiffany (Woodall) Dresser, We pray to the Lord that His blessings be with us duringDtahviids tPihmarer,oAf ucsotinnsHtraulce,tiLoanu.reWn e(Haallseo) Epruabaynks, that we use these blessings to His glory. When we prayatnod tLhuekeLoDrudn,caGn.od the Father is considered the only one to whom the prayers may be addressed. It is further understood that Christ stands in a mediatorial position between God and man (Hebrews 7:25). All prayers are therefore offered through Christ, or in the name of Christ (John 16:23-26).

It is also our prayer that the services conducted in our expanded auditorium will always remain a return to the basics of the Bible in the first century when it was written. Not only is this return to New Testament Christianity a wonderful basis upon which all believers in Christ can unite, it is absolutely solid ground.

For the elders,
